2010.10.09 Hubby's Birthday Party

Hubby's birthday was on October 5th, and since it wasn't fall on weekend, we postpone his birthday party to Saturday night, October 9th so it more convenient for our guest :)
Hubby is not really crazy about party and always have no idea about how to plan one...while I loveee party!! haha...I really enjoy being with my close friends and having great time together. So I plan this birthday party for him and after a lot of consideration, we end up having his birthday at our home sweet home, it's easier for us to mingle with the big amount of guest...and also it was lots of kids too lol

so much good foods! I prepare Korean BBQ & banchan (Korean side dishes), while our friends bringing various type of delicious foods
I feel so happy that so many of my friends were there to share their love!
both living room and kitchen were full with our beloved friends! ;D
and finally we remember to sing happy birthday...haha

2010.05.24 Early Birthday Present

Even that my birthday is still a week away, but I got my early birthday present from hubby today...it's a feet massage machine!! ;D
during my last term of pregnancy, I got the most horrible case of swollen feet, my feet constantly sore and tired. hubby being sweet and thoughtful with this gift!!
it was mean to be a surprise, but i spoiled it...I always manage to find out what his surprise was...hahah...thank you hon, this is so nice!! ;))

2010.04.17 A Letter From the Past

Today when I was re-organizing my drawers,
I found a thin stack of postcard and photos on the very bottom corner of my drawer. The hidden place, some people called it. A place where you store your personal stuff that won't easily found by other people.

Looking at the stash,
it throw me back to five years ago, December 2005, it was my first Christmas in Seattle.
the postcard and the photos came inside a box, my Christmas present.
It was sent by a man that I loved, the first person I ever love so dearly...someone with a heart of gold, kind and sweet. We weren't together anymore when he sent me the present, but his kindness remain.

So, while I was staring at the postcard, suddenly I remember something...
it wasn't me that keep that stash on that hidden place!!
yes, I did keep the postcard on the same exact same place few years ago, but on different drawer. That drawer was damaged badly while we move in to the new place, so hubby and I got a new drawer.
I remember that I was seven months pregnant and was so exhausted during the moving time last month,
I remember...that hubby being nice and do all the thing for me...
including transferring all my stuff from the old drawer to the new one.

I realize, that it wasn't me that keep my secret stash on the corner of my drawer...it was my husband...and he never mention anything, never ask me about that.

So, out of curiosity, I asked him today about that matter.
He was really cool about that,
He understand that it was part of my past, part of me.
He knows that I still talk to that other guy once in a while, and my hubby is fine with it,
He trust me, that's what I adore about my hubby ;))

2010.02.14 Valentine Gift

Hubby surprised me with a Valentine gift,
he said it was the Anniversary + Valentine gift because he didn't get me anything last Dec XD~
sooooo...it wasn't flower, not chocolate,
it was a NEW CAMERA!! ;D I'm so happy!!
he got me the Panasonic Lumix LX3 that take much better picture than my old Canon...i still have to learn & explore the camera to have the maximal benefit from it.

2009.12.21 Happy 2nd Anniversary!!

after the hectic short trip to Midwest for my brother's graduation,
I was too exhausted to think about anything, (i'll write the entry soon ;p)
and almost forget that today is our 2nd anniversary!

this is feel so surreal and unbelievable,
that we've been married for 2 years now, and i always wonder how came the time runs so fast???
it's been an incredible journey with him,
and today I love him so much more than the day I married him 2 years ago,
cannot imagine my life without him now ;)

2009.11.23 Baby Baby Baby...

this week, I'm entering the 13th week of my pregnancy,
cannot believe that time flies so fast! we found out when i was 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant,
and it's been more than 8 weeks after that.

until this moment, I haven't gain any weight at all,
but my chest area grows so fast that i can't fit to my shirts and jacket anymore!
my body is feel bloated too, my jeans are now taking their long long vacation...haha
luckily i still can squeeze into my sweaters

lately, the baby bump on my belly is starting to get rounder,
and most of the time hubby and I are talking about the baby baby baby...
we just finished watch the movie "The Business of Being Born" on netflick
it's about the controversial argument of home-birth.
interesting documentary!

after the movie, hubby and I were snuggling on our comfy bed, and hubby was rubbing my belly, eventually, he got new hobby now ;p
vampy: "you know what...lately, mostly we talk about the baby baby baby..."
hubby: "ya..." (if you don't know...he doesn't really talk much)
vampy: "cannot believe! time flies so fast...before this Summer, it was all about you and me, you and me, you and me, you and me"
hubby: "mmm...it wasn't. it was about you, you, you, you, you, you, you....and me...sometimes"
vampy: "ha??" ---> cannot believe he said that, but realize that it was kind of true! haha!!
vampy: "...really.....???"

i was laughing so hard! the way he said it was so funny!! i love my hubby so much,
even that sometimes he doesn't talk that much...or sometimes i find myself taking alone because he eventually fell asleep while i was talking!!! haha...but he is a very nice person and I'm happy to be with him ;D

we were laugh so hard when watching this video months ago...do you think that this is the ugly truth?? ;p

2009.09.07 Jetlag...

I'm still having jetlag right now,
i remember i was reading my Cosmopolitan magazine yesterday (and apparently fell asleep)
and after i woke up in the middle of the night,
i found that my hubby tagged my picture one facebook...
i never knew that i can sleep in such a weird position...lol

2009.08.04 My Bebe is Here!!!

I haven't met my hubby for 1,5 months!!
and I've been missing him alot! but on the other side, i had plenty of time for blogging,
if you notice...i've blogged religiously while I'm alone ;p

so today is the day that I've been waiting for the longest time,
I woke up early, took shower, and getting ready,
stop by the beauty salon to get my hair blowed dry,
i just want to look at my most beautiful when i meet him again ;)

the airport were jam packed, Bali on high season is total madness!!
good thing that i was only wait for 15 minutes,
then i saw him!!
he hugged me, but i feel weird...hahaha
i though i will jump and hug him, but i was hesitate to hug him...lol
i don't know why,
after a long time not seeing him, I always feel a little bit awkward, even that we always talk on the phone, chat and email'ing each other ;p

but anyway, I'm glad that he's here =)))
