What it Claim: The Body Shop Tea Tree lines claim to keep the skin clear by helping prevent blemish and blackhead and controlling excess oil. 

Tea Tree Blackhead Exfoliating Wash

I love how this exfoliating wash is different from any other face scrub I used before. It's creamy with little chunk of crushed apricot stones that allows me to move the crushed apricot around and concentrate on some parts of my face that need exfoliation the most. 

After washing my face with this cleanser, my face feels soft & smooth. It doesn't make my skin feel dry and tight, so it's a plus!

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner

The first couple times I used this toner, it stung my skin and it felt hot and my skin turn red. I keep using them for several day after that to see if I can really use it or to return it to the store. 

After a few days, the toner didn't stung my skin anymore. I occasionally still feel the warm (not hot) sensation when using this toner, especially after I use microdermabrasion type of scrub on my skin. 

I have a very oily skin, but sometimes this toner can make my skin feel dry.

Overall Review: While I'm still have problem with blackheads and, I noticed that after using these products for a month, it is a lot easier to clean my blackhead when I use the pore pack. The pore pack now picked a lot more blackhead than before, even if I don't use my special combo product before using the pore pack. 

Now I can just put the pore pack directly after I washed my face and it will do a great job picking my blackhead.

Also, I notice that this month when I'm having my period, I don't have as much hormonal break out as I did last month. I only have 2 small acne this month and I'm quite happy about that. 

2009.07.19 Haul from My Sister

this post is going to be a beauty related post,
i haven't really blog anything about beauty lately, so this is it,
some update and haul for my youtube subscriber ;)

first of all, some update from my eyelash growth,
i started using the Enormous Lash on June 12th,
this is my 5th weeks already. i have to be honest that i did not apply it as often as i should,
sometimes i forget to apply it for several days ;p
but I can see significant different on the length of my lower lash,
it used to be really short (those short thin Asian lashes...>,<), but now it's long, no kidding! i tried to take picture here, but the picture does no do justice to the real length the upper lash, off course, was falsie ;p

I got some skincare from Laneige Star White line, i think this product will be discontinue, since the Korean website already remove this line from its website, and change it with the White Plus Renew, but i want to try the Star White anyway ;)
really excited to try this, hopefully it will helps with my sun-spots

2009.06.17 Biore Pore Pack...but more cute!!

i went to grocery with my mom today to get some cleanser,
then i remember that i need to pick up some pore pack as well,
look what i found here!!
Asian version of the Biore Pore Pack,
came with pretty decorative pack of pink (cherry blossom) and green (green tea)
this surely will make my porepack'ing more fun ;D

the price was about $1 for a box of four
lots cheaper than the one in US,
i'm thinking to get some more before i go back to US later

2009.05.06 Biore ULTRA Deep Cleansing Pore Strip

today i wanna make a review about this awesome product,
I'm going to share my personal experience with this product here,

first of all,
i have oily skin and big pores, which mean easy target for the blackhead to grow,
and I've been fighting this blackhead for a long time...o yeah!
after i remove the blackhead, usually it will come back again within one week,
plain annoying!

i will not lie and said that this product will take away all my blackhead period.
no. that's not the case. eventually the blackhead will make its comeback.
this strip also will not remove all of the blackhead,
but what i want to say is that this pore pack have stronger grip to pluck my blackhead,
therefore, it will remove much more blackhead than the other Biore pore strip version

i've tried the other Biore's pore pack,
the original one, the man version (it's wider), also the black porepack (got this from asia),
i also tried peel off masked from other brands,
but NONE of them can do better job than the new Biore ULTRA Deep Cleansing Pore Strip
remember, it's the ULTRA, not the original version

not only i use this pore strips for my nose,
but i also put it on my forehead, chin, and sometimes cheeks,
wherever i need to remove my blackhead from.

unlike the other Biore's pore pack,
while using the new ULTRA pore pack, I can feel cool tingly sensation on my skin,
and there's also a faint smell of tea-tree,
that's the only different that i can tell so far...
but the main different is on the result

KOSE Clear Turn Whitening Platinum Facial Mask
1 box contain 5 individual sheet masks
i tried using this mask today, it's pretty light,
the mask itself not to thick, and the consistency of the emulsion is also pretty light,
therefore, we only need to let it sit for 10 minutes
i use the left-over emulsion from the package and apply it on my neck














































KOSE Clear Turn White Essence Mask
come with eco-friendly box that contain 22 sheet masks, not come in individual package
this mask even thinner than the other mask above,
and there's not much emulsion either, it is for regular daily use,
we only need to let it sit for 5 minutes,
last time i put on this mask, my eyes turn red and a little bit sting,
i'm not sure why...

CUORE K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 24h WP
the inscription "1 day tattoo" at the box made me bought this product...lol
I've been using this liquid eyeliner for few days,
my opinion about this eyeliner is...really easy to use, glossy jet black color, great staying power,
but also easy to remove with make up wipes, no need to rub!!
i even love this better than my Shu Uemura's automatic liquid liner,
now, they also have the limited edition version in pink!!!























KOSE Seikisho Medicated Mask White
i bought this after reading xppinkx's blog, her blog is really awesome!!
i trued this mask too, it's way better than the Shills Black Mask that i got last time,
this mask able to take off some of my skinny blackhead, but it sure does remove the dead-skin cells

the cutest eye drop ever!! the first time you drop this cutie, there will be cool tingling sensation on your eyes, but not too much,

actually, the material is the same material as the Velcro rollers,
if you already have one, you can peel the Velcro to get the same thing as above
















so far I'm loving all of the stuff i got,
I'm addicted to the sheet mask now...i mean i don't really like the feeling of the trapped wet emulsion on my face...blah...
but i'm addicted with the result, my skin became brighter now ;)

2009.05.02 Puuuuuurrrrrfect Day

this is the blog about my purrrfect day,

Shopping

in the Morning, my friend Yuka pick me up to go shopping at the Seattle Premium Outlet,
but actually, no one in Seattle call that place with its real name,
we call it Tulalip,
since it located next to the Tulalip casino, I5 exit 200
haha...ok, that's so detail ;p

we left my place around 10.30, and i think it was about 40 something minutes to get there,
we were so ready for shopping!!!

and we (ehm...actually it was me) did a real damage on my cc...syalala
shopping is a VERY EXPENSIVE & DANGEROUS hobby isn't it...

we went to Nine West to browse some shoes,
and i got this cute silver dancing shoes, it almost looks like disco ball...hahaha
i've been wanting to find a nice dancing shoes for go clubbing,
last time i went with 5 inch heel and i have to take a rest once in a while...lol,
for those who can stand the high heel for long long time,
pls tell me the secret!!
extra cushion?? yess, i tried so many brand, still hurt though!
maybe I'm getting old, i used to walk on those heels for hours and hours and hours before...lol

anyway, back to the Nine West story,
when i about to pay the shoes, the (smart) sales assistant told me that the shoes was buy one get one half price,
off course i love good deal!! so i get one more of the dance shoes in patent black ;)

next to the Nine West store was...BCBG Max Azria, the girls best friend!!
we had so much fun here!!
me and Yuka sharing a fitting room and help each other with the crazy zipper,
it much much easier to have your friend helping you with those zipper ;)
i think we tried like 40 pieces of gown and stuff...lol,
we were pretty much the same size,
i end up getting 4 dresses and 1 cute top ;)

the CCO at this place were kinda blah...
they don't really have nice stuff, i remember the one at Oregon & Las Vegas have so much MAC Pigment, and other stuff
so i end up getting this clinique stuff there,
it was good deal for about $15 each






i will need the after-sun rescue balm for my summer getaway,
I'm going to go back to my island of origin, BALI,
it's a beautiful tropical place,
this balm should rescue me from the striking sun ;)












another place that fun there was the L'occitane,
Yuka told me that this brand is very popular in Japan too,
so far, i only tried their hand-cream,
the L'occitane store at the outlet sure have a good deal on lots of the stuff

i got this facial wipes (15 individual wipes) for less than $5
it have the shea extract that should be moisturizing,
i'm planning to take this with me on the long 18 hours flight to Bali,
they also put a pretty ribbon on it, so it can be a perfect gift too ;D

sadly, they don't really have lots of cute style there ;p

I also went to GAP to get a cute cardigan,
i got 2 of them, one for me, one for my mom

Dinner

after the long day shopping, we are heading to Maximilien Restaurant at Pike Place Market
i never been here, but Yuka told me that this is one of the best French's cuisine in town,
her father in law is French, and this is his favorite French Restaurant

Six escargots baked in garlic and parsley butter,
i always love escargot ;D









































The Entrees

Duo de Canard
Duo of Duck Magret and leg confit served with
gratin Dauphinois, asparagus and a green-pepper corn sauce
Yuka and I ordereded this one with the pan-fried Foie Gras,
the duck meat was really tender, the sauce was really rich and tasty,
the Foie Gras just melt in the mouth!


















when the entree came, i already blushing from the margarita... ;p























Loup de Mer Sauce Homard
Sauteed Chilean Sea-bass served over sauteed French green beans,
golden beets,polenta and a Lobster Sauce
-MSC certified as sustainable-
both hubby and Ed got this one, the fish was really tender and sweet too!
i still prefer the duck one though, i love duck meat!!
