2009.06.04 Birthday Dinner

aww...my mozzila firefox crashed while i was blogging...boohoo...
the 2nd time of this week!! ayaya...
ok, let me start over agaiiinnn ;D

so today, me and hubby went for a low key dinner at our favorite sushi place, Musashi
is you love traditional sushi (not all those fancy sushi roll), then this is your place to go!!
the size is ok a.k.a not those gigantic sushi type, but the taste...oh...so good!!!
















everyone LOVING it!!!
this little place is always jam-packed, no kidding!!
















it's summer already in Seattle,
I'm so happy that we don't need to wear layers and layers of cloths anymore,
love love love, that we can wear flip flop,
and especially, it's the real summer now!!!
unlike like 3 weeks ago while i got punk'd by Seattle's weather,
when i peek from the window, it was so sunny, so i decided to wear a short,
but then, while i'm outside, it was so freaking cold, with super strong wind!! LOL
okok...enough the mumbling, continue writing about food now ;p






Summer is my favorite time of the year ;D














Finally we got a seat...yipeee!!
here's my hubby, Tony...his hair is so long already,
it made him looks like baby switsal...a soap bar that i used when i was little XD~~
hahahhaha...i hope he does NOT check my blog that often ;p

Chirashi!! it's assorted sashimi on top of the sushi rice,
i can't even start to telling you how good this was...
it have the perfect amount of the rice vinegar on the sushi rice, lil bit tangy,
perfection!!
ah ya, before i forget, this Chirashi is not on the menu (don't know why!!)
but you can always order it ;)

i requested for extra Ikura on top of my Chirashi,
usually it only come with Tobiko

2009.06.04 My Birthday in US

Woohoo,
my actual birthday (according to US calendar) is here!!!

my first meal of my day was...Haagen-Dazs in Baileys flavor,
i had it on...00.01 last nite as replacement of birthday cake,
since i won't get my cake until this Saturday, when we gonna celebrate my birthday



























i have this tendency to always create a ball in side my ice cream pint...lol...anyone doing the same ting like this??






i went to school this morning and did my Art History presentation,
it was cool that somehow the professor put my name as the 1st student to do the presentation,
after finish my presentation, i stay for another 40 minutes and went home

now, i'm going to finish my ice cream and watching the tv show "wipeout"
it's so hilarious!! always makes me laugh so bad!!
the contestants are funny, the commentator are funny,
and they always give a hilarious nickname to the contestant!! LOL

and after that gonna do some study for my Italian oral exam this evening,
my birthday always happens to be in the middle of final week... ;p

some news, some news!!!

i'll be leaving Seattle to spend summer in my hometown / island, Bali, Indonesia
have you guys heard about that tiny little island??
it very very small, but so beautiful,
i can't wait to meet my family and friends there, also my 5 puppies,

the internet connection over there is horrible, and I'm not kidding!
hopefully i can keep upload my blog there, since i'll stay for around 2,5 months

Bali is so wonderful, i will introduce you to our culture and food,
so stay tune!!

2009.06.03 1st Day of My Birthday

it's June 3rd here in US,
but it's already June 4th in Bali, my hometown,
therefore, i got so many many wishes from my family and friend,
thank you thank you so much!!

and this year, my birthday also happen to be the same time of my final week,
tomorrow, on my birthday according the US calendar,
i will have Italian Oral test & Art History presentation...sweetttttt... XD~~

Today is the last day of Seattle's Urban Eats event,
let me explain a little but about this Urban Eats,
it held twice a year, for a month each time,
here's what Seattle Times write about this event...

Eat well, save money and support local restaurants. Urban Eats offers you three-course dinners for only $30 from 49 of the area's most admired restaurants. Visit them May 3-31, 2009, Sunday-Thursday nights excluding Mother's Day, May 10.

and we got this coconut cookies on the table
















After the nice dinner, we went to the movie to watch "Up" in 3D
i love it how they show lots of new upcoming 3D movie preview,
one of them was Ice Age 3, i want to watch it!!
