Eki's Cosplay Contest

Eki have a very interesting contest...the Cosplay Contest!!
i think it's very interesting and everyone should join!!
this is my first time entering a blogger contest ;)

so here's my entry...The Pirate Queen
Pirate Queen do not wear those ordinary black eye patch,

2009-05-24 Genki Sushi

For all the sushi lovers!!!

I LOVE sushi!!!
if i should choose only one type of food for the rest of my life,
let it be SUSHI!! ;D

Genki sushi is a restaurant where you can sit and the sushi are rolling on the belt ;)
like those on Sushi Land, but much much better!!!!
better quality, and more versatile
i heard that the original store was in Hawaii

here's some of the sushi i got from my last visit,
i didn't took so much picture because i was too hungry...haha ;p
















the close up...yumyum...
this one is seared salmon topped with cream and black tamago & green onions,
it was super duper good that i ask the chef to make me another plate ;D
it's really creamy and i like the sensation when the tamago traveling around my teeth...lol
















one of my favorite sushi, Saba (mackarel)
it's cheap and very tasty,
i like it how they put some ground ginger on top of them
















Ikura a.k.a salmon roe,
i love it when the juice burst out of those little transparent baloon XD~~
















they also have nice dessert,
i love the mango pudding, they pour some mango sauce on top of it ;)
it does taste like real mango!





















i'm craving for more now...

2009-05-23 Secret Garden for the Meat Lover

my friends, The Moulins, took us to this awesome ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT Korean BBQ,
it was located on Lynnwood area, north part of Seattle,

without too much introduction, here's the picture ;D
































the service was great too, the waitress will come with her meat cart,
and start stuffing meat on top of the grill





















it was massive amount of meat!!,
our waitress was super nice, she was grilling our 1st round meat until it was done!!
































the side dish was also good!! we especially love the seaweed that they refill it like...5 times!!
















the salad cart with the funny shy waitress...lol
















finally, the soju with the pretty teapot to complete our meal ;P

2009.05.18 My Sweet Chef!

I just finished watching the final episode of Hell's Kitchen season 5,
i love that show!!
congratulation for Danny to win this,
but Paula obviously a great chef as well

then I went downstairs to find my hubby was chopping some broccoli,
he was going to cook steak for me,

me: hi bebe!!
him: hi! how came you are not dressed yet?
me: ??? why, we are not going anywhere
him: yes, you are going to restaurant
me: ha?? but you are cooking
him: yes, you are going to my restaurant...

me: LOL!!!

omg...i have such a funny hubby, he keeps me young!

2005.05.17 Nordstorm 27th Annual Beat The Bridge

After the tiring marathon, we went for a nice brunch at Madrona area

we were so tired from the marathon, and almost fall asleep while waiting for the table...lol

House Made Corned Beef Hash, came with the Grandma Hazel's sour cream coffee cake
















My favorite,
Imperial Mix Up, it's like a fried rice, but taste kinda sour, me lovey!!
















Yuka's dish,
Fish Taco, she said it was really good!!
















after the brunch, we were all passed out for quite a while...
