2009-05-31 Tripple Date at Seastar

Today is the last day of Seattle's Urban Eats event,
let me explain a little but about this Urban Eats,
it held twice a year, for a month each time,
here's what Seattle Times write about this event...

Eat well, save money and support local restaurants. Urban Eats offers you three-course dinners for only $30 from 49 of the area's most admired restaurants. Visit them May 3-31, 2009, Sunday-Thursday nights excluding Mother's Day, May 10.

my friends and I always wanted to go and try out the various restaurant,
unfortunately, we always have another things coming up,
and finally we made it today!!
thanks for Ali that text me this morning and asked us to go there,
and for lovely Yuka that pick the place,
Seastar is the deal!! this place have much more option on the 3 for 30 menu than the other restaurants

the seastar on the menu match the napkin's ring ;D

The Appetizer

Scallop Ceviche with Mango-Kiwi Relish,
the shells was so cute, like pearly pinkish color ;)

Dungeness Crab and Sweet Corn Bisque,
this one taste really good!! so rich and creamy

Spicy Ahi Sushi Roll,
it was seriously spicy!!

it's crispy on the outside

Hazelnut Trout with Braised Asparagus and Four Grain Rice

My Triple Date,

The Dessert

the cool thing about this restaurant, unlike the other limited 3 for 30 dessert menu from other restaurant...we can pick ANY dessert from the original menu!!!

Molten Chocolate-Raspberry Cake

Seastar Dessert Trio,
hubby's choice was: Vanilla Creme Brulee, Passion Fruit Panna Cotta, Strawberry-Rhubarb Crisp

Passion Fruit Panna Cotta with Tropical Fruit

the ladies room was located on the hotel next to the restaurant,
it was so cute with the wood accent

I love how they prepare the hand towel rather than paper napkins,
and beside the hand soap, they also provide a hand cream that smell so goooooooddddd... ;)

when we ladies came back to the restaurant, the bill were paid,
and we got this coconut cookies on the table

After the nice dinner, we went to the movie to watch "Up" in 3D
i love it how they show lots of new upcoming 3D movie preview,
one of them was Ice Age 3, i want to watch it!!
