2010.02.05 Sub-Sand

Sub-Sand
Neighborhood: International District
419 6th Avenue S
(between Jackson St & Jefferson St)
Seattle, WA 98104

Sub-Sand located just right next to the Unicone, the crepes place that i visit so often.
we always curious about this tiny restaurant.
Originally we went to China Town to get some frozen yogurt from Uwajimaya,
but then hubby said he was hungry and asked if i want to have dinner before heading for the frozen yogurt. I said ok.
Since the weather was nice, we decided to be adventurous, walking around the block and try a new restaurant that we never tried before...then we entered this small restaurant, Sub-Sand

Their menu, the specialty are the Vietnamese Sandwich
the huge submarine artwork on the wall...lol
this broken glass style on this plate reminds me of my pottery class in Taipei
BBQ Pork Spring Rolls...jumbo size!!
this place sells a lot of different type of spring rolls, so good!!
Bamboo Shoot Duck Soup Noodle...it was so delish!!
the dipping sauce was awesome!!
the only bad thing is there was so many broken bones, so be extra careful when eat the duck salad ;p
Spicy Beef Noodle
The "Egg Waffle" dessert...dunno how to say it in English, but it's pretty close ;p
it's crispy on the side, but soft on the inside...yummm...
so glad to find this in Seattle, we usually get them at Victoria, BC
...and all of that was only cost us $21.00 ;D
